Fake candidates: a new reality in recruitment

There has been a noticeable increase in cases of fraud in recruitment worldwide. This trend is driven by both the application and capabilities of artificial intelligence tools and the influence of social networks on our communication. ⁉️ Is there really such a big difference between applying a filter to your photo and embellishing the facts on your resume? 🤯

From innocent CV embellishments to AI-generated avatars replacing candidates in job interviews, recruitment is becoming a testing ground. The motives for fraud also varies: the desire to get a job, technological experiments, corporate or national sabotage, or even the desire to profit from loopholes in the system.
